About Wasil

The idea of establishing a welfare trust was to serve the impoverished population of Rawalpindi district, which was conceived by a group of senior veterans/likeminded individuals who began the project in 2019. The founder envisioned working for the provision of basic healthcare and educational needs of the residents of an underdeveloped area of intervention identified as below.
a. Primary Healthcare
b. Health Education
c. Food Program for orphans, widows and disabled
d. Vocational Training in health & Allied fields to meet the workforce shortage and financial emancipation

Wasil Welfare Trust was registered with the relevant government department as per state law in April 2021. The trust has a board of twenty directors and an executive committee of five. It has been certified by the Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP), an office of the Pakistan Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), as a Non-Profit Organization.

Our web page is still in the making, while we have a rather humble footprint on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google. The purpose of our minuscule presence is to inform our patients of the specialists’ schedules and to get their feedback.
Pictures and videos of the latest events are routinely uploaded on these applications to keep our partners updated on the latest activities.
