History

Wasil Welfare Trust was founded in 2019 by a group of senior veterans and like-minded individuals to support the underprivileged population of Rawalpindi district. Officially registered in April 2021, the Trust is governed by a 20-member board and a 5-member executive committee. It is certified as a Non-Profit Organization by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and the Federal Board of Revenue.
